    Picofly AIO Thread

Its an interesting take to make a universal flex but thinking more about it seems unnecessary because all consoles except v1 is different which already comes in an unpatched variant. Also depending on the size of those slots you got those wrong for V1. The addition of the stiffener is also...

    Oled Volume Resistor

I provided the components as per the diagram, I doubt someone will go through the trouble to throw off people. Up to op if they want to follow it. 1714596217 I stand corrected its indeed a 150 Ohm resistor.

Hacking Hardware Picofly - a HWFLY switch modchip

My friend I don't think its a hardware issue. If that was the case you would never reach this stage of the boot process. Take it step by step. If there's a problem in your emuNAND it can be fixed since the least requirement is your prodinfo in order to restore it. Fixing your sysNAND can be a...

Getting stuck on the logo can only mean one thing, there's a problem in your system partition. Though I'm not sure how you managed to cripple both since its usually one and not the other since they are separate entities. You probably made a mirror of your sysNAND when its on the brick going bust.

Hacking Hardware Picofly - a HWFLY switch modchip

I did two consoles two days ago which were brand new in both of cases the screen was glitching with a single vertical white line on the right side. I didn't think much of it at first until another unit was doing the same thing in the same exact spot. It only happens during post boot when...

Nintendo sends DMCA notices for "syspatch-updater" homebrew app by iTotalJustice

You cannot be more wrong with your analogy, you can think of piracy as someone watching a film from a neighbor's window that may peak his interest to go out to watch it. I'll repeat what I said, what you're crying about is revenue you will never earn in the first place. It all boils down to one...

Nintendo sends DMCA notices for "syspatch-updater" homebrew app by iTotalJustice

Yada yada, more baseless claims. You cannot realize profits you were never going to earn in the first place. Pirates already made up their mind if they are going to buy the products, you will never force people to buy something EVER regardless if you push against with anti measures.

Industry grade equipment have different safety measures while the cheap equipment you get from aliexpress would be lacking in every aspect, better to practice safety than end up a kfc. Besides, using a flammable solvent isn't recommended if you're a hobbyist. But if you insist in using it you...

Nintendo sends DMCA notices for "syspatch-updater" homebrew app by iTotalJustice

You sound like that corporate guy that would attend every financial meeting to blame their poor performance on piracy. Failure of the Sony handheld wasn't piracy but the incompetence of the company itself. They launched the handheld with hardly any first party support. They left it for 3rd...

Nintendo sends DMCA notices for "syspatch-updater" homebrew app by iTotalJustice

Sorry to tell you I don't suck corporate dick, I'll leave that to you. I would care less if this company goes down under, from the amount of shenanigans they do they well deserve to go bankrupt. Not a single tear will shed. Another company hopefully will rise up from the ashes to fulfill that...

Nintendo sends DMCA notices for "syspatch-updater" homebrew app by iTotalJustice

Is that the reason why they sold over 20 million copies of TOTK in the first 6 months? Even though the game was leaked early, that doesn't sound damaging to me one bit. Pirates are usually from those less privileged people. Despite the "damaging" effect this piracy is made to be, with no...

Nintendo sends DMCA notices for "syspatch-updater" homebrew app by iTotalJustice

I think something wrong in your thinking? If that pirate is poor then the likelihood of that person buying the game is zero, so you as a company lost nothing to begin with. Digital copies aka bits don't go through a manufacturing process you just copy/paste as many as you want to make.

@Jayro, I don't see whats so special about the DS ML, its just a DS lite in a phat shell. At least the phat model had louder speakers, whereas the lite has a much better screen.

A woman with no arms and no legs was sitting on a beach. A man comes along and the woman says, "I've never been hugged before." So the man feels bad and hugs her. She says "Well i've also never been kissed before." So he gives her a kiss on the cheek. She says "Well I've also never been fucked before." So the man picks her up, and throws her in the ocean and says "Now you're fucked."

@BakerMan - you can still "own" digital media, arguably easier and better than physical since you can make copies and backups, as much as you like.

    The issue is DRM
  • cearp @ cearp:
You can buy drm free games / music / ebooks, and if you keep backups of your data (like documents and family photos etc), then you shouldn't lose the game. but with a disk, your toddler could put it in the toaster and there goes your $60

    :rofl2:
  • cearp @ cearp:
