It genuinely hurts my thumb to use the Switch joycon D-pad after a while. Those edges kinda jab into my thumb and it is just unpleasant. The Playstation D-pad isn't my favourite but I don't have this problem there because the buttons actually cave in and point towards the middle so the gap...
I feel like people don't really realize how common it is to collect your IP address. The idea of it being a secret thing that should be protected is a pretty recent idea, hence the 90's and 00's online PC games that just broadcast that shit to everyone on the server.
I've installed Pretendo on my 3DS and while nothing is 100% certain with these things I can't imagine a situation where it bricks your console. You install the app, run it, choose between Pretendo or official servers, and you're done.
So I've had trouble getting USBLoaderGX to load custom Nintendont settings, and I've read that this is because the newest version of Nintendont added new settings, and USBLoaderGX ends up not being able to read this and sets everything to default.
Until this is fixed is can anyone provide a...
So I've heard that external SSDs don't require a Y-Splitter cable to be powered by a Wii U. I just want to make sure that this is true and if there's any asterisks in that statement I should know about.
Also, that leads me to my second question: is it possible to have two SSDs running off of...
So the solution here is to give stars to every game you want to show up (that option appears when you select a game) and then set it so that only games with stars show up (you can set that by selecting the star icon in the top menu on the home screen). You can also make a category to put all...
I've actually been directing my saves to EmuNAND as well, funnily enough. Partly for storage reasons but mostly because I have a Wii U with a Hynix NAND chip, so if that ends up dead and I can't fix it then at least all my Wii saves won't go down with the ship.
There any major drawbacks to this...
Because it would be very convenient to have everything on my hard drive instead of having to manage what games are installed on the puny internal storage.
Will there's be compatibility improvements to EmuNAND with the next update? Juggling between the NAND and EmuNAND just for a few games is a bit of a pain.
If you wanna do chronological but still dodge playing games that suffer from datedness, Zero Mission -> Samus Returns (or AM2R) -> Super Metroid > Fusion -> Dread.
I have evWii enabled, doesn't really affect this issue. I've attached two screenshots. The one where the game is in standard 4:3 is what displays when I load the game through the stock disc channel. The stretched one is what happens when I load the game through USBLoaderGX.
I also run into this...
I've kinda had my own problems with aspect ratios. On Wii U, all 4:3 content stretches out into not-quite-but-still-sorta 16:9. Turning on Framebuffer or forcing 4:3 doesn't help. Enabling Wii U Widescreen does switch things to 4:3 (which itself seems counterintuitive) but it doesn't save or...
Is there a way to hide duplicate channels when the contents of both the NAND and EmuNAMD are being shown? I run into the problem where both of them are affected by the same settings (such as the star rating, the category I put them in, and even deleting one deletes both) so I can't just hide one...
I've been playing fallout4 all day, I went into a elevator and it kept going, never stopped, waited 5 minutes, must of been a bug. How bout you, whatcha do today?
