I would prefer to region patch the currently released games instead of injecting the roms to that result, but I guess I won't...

I have a Jap Wii, as many others, and if I need games from the same region of my console, well, I'm pretty much screwed on this front, since for the moment I have no way of playing 'em in English or whatever language I understand...

    Oh, I see. Well, I can tell you that SMG needs at least 3.0J to run, and if your "wiikey" has a firmware lower than 1.9b - as I guess it does - you will need to patch the ISO in order for it not to give you the 001 error.

    If as he said the game is stopping at different places there's no chance it is the ISO he's using, it's got to be a bad burn. As I said, just check it with the programs I mentioned to confirm it.

    Does the read error alway happen in the same place for the two dvds you made? To be sure about the burn, you could use Dvdinfopro or another tool like that (e.g. Nero cd-dvd speed, or whatever), do the PiPo testing, and check the results.
