    What did work for me is taking the raw .bin files, convert it to .pbp, then take that .pbp and convert to .cia

    it worked, but my file is 30% larger, I want to utilize .chd to have a smaller file size

    Yeah FF7 and a couple of others are sensitive to being compressed I think due to anti piracy measures

    I found out my own method which is

    1. download the indivudal .bin/.cue files
    2. use psx2psp to convert it into single .pbp
    3. then use ps1 forwader creator to convert to single .cia
    4. installed .cia file on 3ds and played that way

    wonderngi if there is an easier way to just convert all bin file to chd

    I used a different converter and did a batch job on like the entire PS1 North American library it took a while lol

    After compression and deleting like all the junk games was like 350GBs or something

    I am trying it with FF7 now, it's 3 dics and I am seeing if it works

    I just merged all 3 dics into 1 pbp, then converted to .cia and now moving to my 3ds now

    That's one of the hardest ones to get working very finicky
