How do you fix getting a QR when trying to do a CTR transfer for my new 3DS

So recently like two days ago I hacked my 3DS. it was working fine I was playing Pokémon black for like eight hours without any problems and then when I went to the whole menu and start it looking at my other games the blue light checked any shut down. at first it was showing some error message about Stacks oh and then he said I don’t have CTRAND so I followed a guide on YouTube on how to fix it bitch every time I get really close to completing the scan and then a random QR code pops up on the top or something that looks like a QR code and I have to start over energy crashes. I was wondering if anyone could help me or is my shit just done

Check your SD with h2testw or F3. Only try troubleshooting with proven to be good SDs! Please do not skip the check.

*Sigh* Please stay away from YouTube or video guides. They won't take special situations in account. Most guides won't even mention backing up the NAND before trying CTRTransfer. Sometimes CTRTransfer isn't the right solution and under rare circumstances restoring a backup, even of a bricked state may be needed. So please don't try any software repair without having a backup.

Read through this thread. Make sure the SD reader is working normally.

You suppose to test the whole card being empty, it seem it didn't test the whole card.

Store the files that were on the sd card in to your pc, other than the ones created by the h2testw software, format it as FAT32 32KB cluster size then re-test the sdcard with both Write and read settings.

For some reason it not letting me scan the whole thing you have any idea why I scanned it twice to try and get the rest but it didn't work maybe it's a Storage thing

You formated it and tested it again and the result is the same? Or does it show an error when it reaches a specific sector? If so then the sd card is faulty /defective and you need to replace it. And what do you mean by "it's a storage thing"?

It formats but does not give the option to do the whole thing and my sd card is almost out of space so maybe that has something to do with it

It either formats the sd card or not, if it doesn't, use a tool like Guiformat to do so.

Again, did you backup your data in to your pc before testing it with h2testw or not? If you did, it should rule that out.

For some reason when I use H2test it does not give me the option to format everything so I’m trying to use The link you sent it says do you really want to format disk or data will be lost do I do it

If everything is backed up then its fine to go ahead with it. Let it format the card with Fat32 32kb clusters, and have the h2testw run and check the entire card.

So do I just create a folder in my PC and copy everything that’s on my SD card in the folder

so apparently I do have a SYSnand back up is that what you’re talking about

So I’m using the website to download the CTR transfer and it’s in my SD as a winrar zip file that I cannot open do I need to open it when I try to open it it says it’s an unknown format or damaged
