Hardware Is it possible to back up saves on usb sticks?

Hello! Is it possible to back up game saves onto a usb stick? I know you can back them up to ps+ save but that’s not the same. Do you know if Sony has allowed this yet or if they’re going to update to allow it eventually?

You can backup save data to USB but it's encrypted of course.

Since PS4 has this feature already, I don't see any reason Sony would drop it
