I tried using Nintendont to run TTYD, but mem card emulation wasn't activated in the options. To activate it, I'd need to connect to my wifi, but the Wii Mini doesn't have built-in wifi. Could I possibly activate it through some .ini file?

Sorry but I don't have any experience at all with the Wii Mini. However, regarding this assertion:

How did you reach this conclusion? Does Nintendont itself say so when you try to activate the option?

After hacking my Wii I used it without Internet for a good while because the console and my router at the time didn't see eye to eye for whatever reason. So in principle I don't think Internet should be the issue here.

I believe Nintendont should automatically select either USB or SD for storing virtual MCs depending on where it finds your games, so that shouldn't be an issue as well. I take it you are able to boot TTYD normally from the USB drive?

When enabling Memcard Emulation in Nintendont settings, pressing 1 to update the settings, and clicking on the files it needs to update the settings, it says "Updating Nintendont... Update Error: Network initialization failed."

Nevermind. If I enable memcard emulation in settings manually every time I open Nintnendont, saving will work just fine. A bit more janky than just enabling it in the settings and leaving it be, but it still works.

I hate ordering stuff online if I can go buy it somewhere close to me, and everywhere anymore will give you a discount only if you order it online, bs. Should be a discount if I go pick it up, not order online.

I love it for most things most stores you just shows the receipt online and they scan it

  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Mostly for big purchases, I want it in my hands before I pay. Like a tv, I trust picking it up myself, before I'd trust it being sent thru mail/delivery. (Broken screen, etc) But yea if I can order online, then pickup at store is ok, but not all places offer that.

Thing is, if you break it driving back to your house, it's your fault. But if the delivery driver damages it, it's not your fault.

Most people that haul big tvs have empty trucks or know enough not to set it face down
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Then I gotta send it back and wait another week or two. I have a pickup truck, with a extended cab, so no prob for me.
