- My CFW swtich is the v1 switch and i'm making use of the RCM jig to boot into the CFW.
- I've played several games on this switch, legit(by purchasing the game chip) and non-legit.
- For example I do have a legit (copy) cartridge of pokemon shield but not the DLC.
- I have used it offline and have not been online with it, it is unbanned currently. I've booted it up once online and had no issues.
- My saves are NOT stored on any cloud. only locally and the sd card
- It is not updated to the latest switch and atmosphere version
- I plan do plan on updating to the latest atmosphere version and updating the switch to the latest version to perform the data transfer, as OFW won't let me data transfer otherwise.

It is a switch lite, that does go online and I just play pokemon games on there to kill time.
It's updated to the latest switch version.
What I plan on doing:
- Since the data transfer can be done offline, I am planning on purchasing the DLC on the CFW before the data transfer, boot up the save file and save in a legit area (in pokemon scarlet).
- Data transfer cannot happen as the CFW switch and the OFW switch have a difference in system versions, I need to update the CFW switch to the latest system and atmosphere version.
- Another option I can do is, purchase another switch and try these methods. It will cost a bit, but hey before I think about spending money I might as well gather as much information as I can, once I do have enough information I'll purchase a switch and try it out.

Eventhough the New 3DS XL is more powerful, I still feel like the DS Lite was a more polished system. It's a real shame that it never got an XL variant keeping the GBA slot. You'd have to go on AliExpress and buy an ML shell to give a DS phat the unofficial "DS Lite" treatment, and that's the best we'll ever get I'm afraid.
@Jayro, I don't see whats so special about the DS ML, its just a DS lite in a phat shell. At least the phat model had louder speakers, whereas the lite has a much better screen.
@SylverReZ if you could find a v5 DS ML you would have the best of both worlds since the v5 units had the same backlight brightness levels as the DS Lite unlockable with flashme
