here is my equipment.

Acekard with latest AKIAO
M3 Simply with latest Wood R4
EZ-Flash 3 in 1 Expansion Pack
M3 Real GBA Expansion Pack
Cyclo DS

what i want to do is run GBA games from a Slot-1, displaying Different Custom GBA borders, for Each individual game.

Wood, Akaio, GBAExploder, have ONE universal frame that's applied to ALL games, but i want Different GBA games to have different borders per game.

other posts say it can be done, but literally nothing i tried will load the damn frames.

i got frustrated and copied pasted the "ABCD.bmp" into literally every folder and subfolder in my Micro SD. it's in the root, its in /_aio/ its in /_aio/frames, its in /_aio/ui, its in /_rpg/, its in /_rpg/frames, its in _rpg/ui/gbatemp.

its in /_system_/ (for GBAExploder).

the file is correct format. 256 x 192.

it won't load the GBA frame no matter what combination i use, AKIAO, Wood R4, Cyclo DS, With EZ Flash 3in1, with M3 GBA Exp pack, USING GBAExploder, literally nothing works.

from what i understand, the process is (using Doom as an example), highlight a game in Wood/Akaio, press Start, file info, ok it says CODE: ADME. rename the bmp to "ADME.bmp". then place that in /_aio/frames/.

is this right?. what am i doing wrong?

the wiki entry is extremely confusing. what do you rename the border file to?. there is no "internal view" anywhere in Akaio. does it mean file info?. this doesn't explain anything.
