PSP Go seems to have a "Hold" locking issue.

I just recently repaired my PSP Go after years of not using it because originally it was having a strange issue of the power not correctly working so I had to let it die or it'd wake me in the middle of the night.
Just a couple days ago though I was able to open it up after thinking to check it out and the nub that controls the power was dislodged from the plastic little switch that you can use on the side to turn it on, off and put it in sleep mode.
Thing is, as far as I know right now, when I set the display panel option to go into sleep mode when I close it after a while I try to flip it up to turn it back on it doesn't do it and when I use the switch on the side manually it's in "Hold" mode where I can't use any of the buttons despite the switch not being pushed down into "Hold". Reason I say "as far as I know right now" is because it doesn't SEEM to happen when that display panel option is in "standard". Will update if it does that there too.

Anyway, does anyone know what this might be an issue of, and any way to fix it? The power issues from before aren't happening so that's a great thing but I'm worried something else is wrong.

Edit: Seems it does it in Standard mode as well.

Found this, and it seems it might be a slightly common problem for PSP Go?
Anyway I'll make use of this since I have no need for the hold button anyway. Barely use it! Still, if anyone has any input I'd appreciate some!
