Homebrew app SnesGx GX wont detect my .sfc file

So I wanted to play the Super Mario World rom. the file was in .sfc (i think its the rom for the Super Famicom). In the WiiBrew page it said that it can load .sfc files which was considered as the SNES rom. But it shows blank in the roms folder. Should I convert it or what?

I downloaded it from romspure.cc, the zip doesnt answer my question.

.sfc files should work for GX. Try finding a different rom with .smc extension. I would not bother converting the rom, i just ran the Super Mario World.sfc and it IS working. It is possible you have a bad rom dump, i have never been to the site you mentioned.

I was never thinking that the rom got corrupted. the same thing happened when running pokemon sword & shield downloaded in the same site in vbagx. Thanks for reminding me

I just realised that the rom is not an .sfc file after all. It's a TextClipping File that my Mac provided after copying it to my sd card (or when the file is corrupted). I hate TextClipping Files
