Hacking GameCube Backup Launcher channel-wads

So, uhhh, been regged here for a while, but didn't see a reason to post until now. Since I've seen a similar thread somewhere in these forums, and since I've really enjoyed some of the Wii Backup Launcher designs available here, I thought I'd create one for the GameCube version.

I'll start off with one that I did; do note however that I will be editing this post whenever a new version of the launcher becomes available. So the version number on the preview images will most likely not correspond with the latest release. The images inside the actual releases are always up-to-date though:

Obviously this is heavily inspired by Tgames' channel design for the Wii Backup Launcher (original post: http://gbatemp.net/index.php?s=&showto...&p=1550381).
In fact, you can call it thievery. 8)

These load the dol instead of having to go into HBC, so yes, they can load multigame discs.

Love both of those themes. Not a fan of buby's choice of music but that's ok.

A whole new Topic for a damm little Channel (oh, sorry, two) is simply too dumb...Please, first search for a Thread like this, and then post...And if you want a complication of all Channels, ask in the Official-GC-Lanucher-Thread, or in Wiigators-Blog Entry...

Glad you guys enjoy the theme, you're welcome. The real credit goes to Tgames though, I just played with the hue and slapped on some new text.

I started this thread because there was none available for channel-wads specifically geared at the GC launcher. What's the point in going through a Custom Channels thread when you're just looking for wads to one specific application? That's like buying a bag of mixed fruits at the local supermarket and expecting to get some pears, whereas you could've just bought a full bag of only pears instead.

If by complication you mean compilation, then yes, this is what it's supposed to be. Why would I hijack the official thread or the blog when I know that there isn't one here on the GBAtemp forums? Why did I post only one? Well, because I only made one. That's the point of a compilation, right? Letting other users contribute.

Yeah, I saw he said that he would be updating it; however, I didn't see where he actually posted it was for the new version...

Bit of a necropost but it's relevant...

Will you be updating your channel to include the latest version of the GC launcher that just released a few days ago? (See http://gbatemp.net/index.php?showtopic=142652) I'd do one myself but I have no clue how to compile wads.

if you still have the original wad, use this: http://www.tehskeen.com/forums/showthread.php?p=49974
It works with all homebrew made channels
Select the wad (old channel), the new dol (in this case the launcher) and enter a new name, hit update and when its done install it on the wii!
