    Hacking wwt+wit: Wiimms WBFS+ISO Tools

    Not sure why but https://opensvn.wiimm.de/ redirects to https://wiimfmi.de. I don't know if this was intentional, or if the repository moved, but I'd like this to be addressed.

    Tutorial Wii on Wii U Virtual Console: Injecting Games

    Exactly! So who's to say we can't get access to the rest of the NAND (or even an SD card) using a special NFS package containing eg. an HBC forwarder? I don't really see why this wouldn't be possible, especially with fakesigning and (afaik) AHBROT.

    Tutorial Wii on Wii U Virtual Console: Injecting Games

    In theory, yes, but the WAD's dol would have to load the content files from the disc instead of the NAND (like the SSBB VC demos), otherwise, I don't see why not.

    Tutorial Wii on Wii U Virtual Console: Injecting Games

    Will it posssible to make a Wii ISO that contains a GC ISO and Nintendont as the Wii ISO's main.dol, like this? Wii ISO (with custom id, for example RZWE for NTSC Zelda Windwaker) main.dol (Nintendont, customized to load the iso from Wiidisc/game.iso) game.iso controllers.zip config.ini...

    Homebrew The Wii U Homebrew Request Thread

    afaik vWii isn't as fast CPU-wise as the Wii U. Also, the Wii U has more RAM than vWii (1 GB iirc, don't know about the Wii though). Therefore, it's perfectly reasonable to assume that PSX (maybe even PS2) emulation is possible on the Wii U. As for the N64, thankfully Virtual Console ROM...

    Hacking wfsdump - PC util for dumping WFS devices (WiiU File System)

    I meant WiiVC extraction from WFS images. The situation is: I have a WFS dump containing Xenoblade Chronicles which won't properly dump. I was wondering if any work has been done to achieve proper extraction.

    Homebrew (Question) Restore browser vulnerabilities on a 5.5.2 console that already has haxchi?

    I was wondering the same thing, and I don't see why it wouldn't work, especially since the IOSU wasn't updated. The only things I would really look out for are update blocking, but apart from that, with the legit ticket and TMD, it's an easy install with WUP Installer, and some quick testing.

    Homebrew Official Wii Youtube Channel will soon no longer be supported, is there a Hombrew App to replace it?

    afaik the Wii U doesn't really draw a lot of power either...

    Hacking [Suggestion] Start sniffing from now!

    AFAIK there are both client and root certs in one of the Wii U's system titles. Idk if we can (safely) modify them without bricking (or at least losing online access) but in the future, this is something we can look at.

    @BigOnYa,
    Well, I had read that thread already, it does not mention moving saves from Emulator to OFW. Also I am not planning to edit/modify a save file. Just play a save file on an emulator, and then move it to OFW and play it on my switch.
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
    I wouldn't risk it, but do what you want. A console ban is loss of all online play, of any games.

    @BigOnYa, I try to do a gdevelop event to make an enemy fire bullets if it is on screen and its in colision with a platform, but it doesnt work (and yes i downloaded the "is on screen" condition extension)
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
    and the enemy has the fire bullet behavior
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
    You can try in code, if player distance <1000
    then enemy fire bullets at player.
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
    @BigOnYa, lemme try
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
    Or use the ray casting behavior for the enemies
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
    @BigOnYa, i cant find that behavior
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
    @BigOnYa, and nope the player distance condition didnt work
