I'm on 5.50 GEN-D3, is this a futile attempt? I tried using ISO Tool on the psp to decrypt, but the...

    PS1/2 streaming?

Can vouch for PS3 Media Server too on the Mac. I had some issues at first streaming 720p videos, it would stutter, buffer, skip around, but after playing the with settings and slightly reducing some quality, it streamed beautifully. I think it also had to convert on the fly because they were al...

    I just bought a Gameboy!

Yes, it's a mod, not a difficult one either. Followed Bibin's tutorials (http://8bitcollective.com/forums/viewtopic.php?id=15322 here's a good starting point, he links to GBP, GBC and GBA mods on yet another site). I used the backlight module from a ds screen, cut it down to size, stripped the...

    best GB and GBC games

true that. it would be pointless to make a 64M card that could only hold one game. I think this one comes with flashing software that makes a multiboot menu.

Dead pixels. [DMG-01 AKA Original Gameboy]

if you have a vertical line of dead pixels on your dmg (or a horizontal line on the gameboy pocket) read this thread. It describes a very easy method to repair a line of dead pixels. Actually that whole forum has tips on fixing, modding, playing with old gameboy hardware. And if it's beyond...

I had gold as a kid and now I'm playing soul silver, so what does that mean? also, can you go online/trade/battle with a backup copy on cyclods? Or do you need a legit copy of the game?

i used to go out to the recycling center every couple weeks and look at the crts and other electronics people would drop off. Usually screens were broken or severely scratched from being tossed around. Did find a good one here and there, but never anything like a 1080i widescreen crt.

Is it piracy if it was released for free? Not in my opinion, but I also think it's not piracy if buying it isn't owning it, and it's not piracy if you can't buy it from the original creators anymore.
