Thanks, I got rid of any mention of where the image folder was located (it automatically picked wimages I guess) and put it where you said. Worked fine.- crosseye

I'm really getting frustrated trying to figure out if I'm screwing up or what, but I can't get a different background to show up no matter what I try. I've tried moving the image directory, I've tried putting the background in multiple places, I've tried putting the background with the boot.dol...- crosseye

Just to be completely clear: 1) I don't uninstall softmii and just start at step 1 of your guide 2) after installing preloader the first time, I use the CIOScorp installer from softmii 3) Then I install CIOS60BF.wad (use wad manager, or do I use the CIOScorp installer from softmii?) 4)...- crosseye

Could you please explain if I need to remove Softmii 2.1.1 in order to do this or let me know the steps I would take having Softmii 2.1.1 and 3.2U? I'd really like to upgrade to 4.0 to load wads from SD, but not lose the ability to load backups from disc channel. Thanks a lot.- crosseye

@salazarcosplay Yea with a vpn, my ip address is randomized and not at my address, so my ISP does not know its me pirating. I have never got a bitch letter from my ISP since using a vpn. -
