New Wii U and only scrolled down a notice for miiverse termination and during a game when I saw tearing. Only happened that one time though so far so need to test it some more. Thought maybe it was because of some process running in the background after adding Aroma that was causing issues.
Took a bit of work but got Aroma on the system and some apps on it. Also restored my Xenoblade X save with over 325 hours on it so that's good. Just need to test it by playing a bit to see if everything is fine.
SD card must be inserted at all times right? If it's inserted I need to go to...
Plan for now is doing a backup, getting Aroma and maybe a few things that would be useful/improve the experience like Pretendo. Guessing the redNAND thing is for if the eMMC fails right? If you or anyone have any recommendations to make the system CFW experience better I'd love to hear it.

Should follow that like I did the first time I assume to backup this new Wii U and install Aroma. Now that I dumped the saves and have everything all backed up on my laptop I'm going to format the sd card to use with...
Got it. Just the first 3 folders then in the picture correct? Also the system needs to be modded with CFW to use SaveMii or FTP right? What's the best CFW to go with? Sounds like Aroma is the best from what I'm reading but best to ask first to be sure. Also definitely still going to work on the...
Yeah, didn't notice it before. Guessing we're at the home stretch now. Just getting Error: Didn't find directory usr-save in wfs now.
Edit: Got it. Typed usr-save instead of usr/save before. Says it dumped now that I put usr/save and added the folder to the sd card. Thanks for all the help...
Getting a new error message when typing
sudo ./wfs-extract --input/dev/sdb2 --output save-extract --type mlc --otp backup_otp_0.bin --dump-path usr-save
that says
Error: Unrecognized option '--input/dev/sdb2'.
Use --help to display program options
Tried sdb1 sdb3 and sdb4 as well just to be...
Think I did it but nothing happened, as in no success or failure message. SD card doesn't have anything new from what I can see. Picture 1 has the command I used. It shows /dev/sdb1 but I used /dev/sdb2 first, just tried different commands to see if anything happened. Also saw the cd command...
I'll give it a try later once I get up. Haven't used Linux in forever but I'll try and grab Ubuntu later just in case to hopefully make it easier to dump the saves.

I have Ubuntu on a USB drive. Inserted the SD card and it sees it. Opened up Disks and I get what the 1st picture shows...
One of the errors posted above most likely, either Error: FileDevice: Failed to open file or Error: class OTP: Failed to key file backup_otp_0.bin. I made a folder in the sd card named minute and made a file in notepad with that code you posted above and named it rednand.ini. Would I need to...
Opened it in hex editor, only a few parts are zero so guess it's fine. Did your suggestion of moving everything to 1 folder to make it simpler. Everything is currently in C:\Users\mi nina\Desktop\Wii U Backup - Copy as shown in the picture. I used the command wfs-extract --input C:\Users\mi...
Spent all day messing around trying to figure it out and nothing. Not sure if my commands are all wrong or if something is up with the files. I'd either get an Error: FileDevice: Failed to open file or Error: class OTP: Failed to key file backup_otp_0.bin. Attached are pics of my wfs tools...
Windows 10. Clicking on wfs-extract.exe by itself does nothing so figure it must be used in command line. Just don't know what commands to use in command line to get things running. Wfs-extract.exe and a copy of the files from the SD card are on the desktop directory just in case so should be...
I may try the new ram site, and download more RAM to my Switch. Not sure if ddr3 is the right ram
for it tho. Edit- no it uses floppy Ram, just like @AncientBoi
