Have your tests been succesful ? I have already tried the european version at the time of my orignal post, but the data corruption problem was still a thing- KkJin

Hi, i apologize for the successive posts but i'm having kind of an issue with the forwarder. Some games, merge/take other games' places when i install their cia, a problem i already had with the original nds forwarder, but i still managed to get all my ds games on the homescreen at that time...- KkJin

Hi, i'm having some difficulties with the program when turning nds files into cias. I tried converting 2 games at a time (bleach dark souls that wasn't on my sd card, and wario ware touched which was already on it with a save file); the firt time i used it, so i could see how it works in both...- KkJin

Hacking Homebrew Checkpoint "an exception occurred" while restoring data on a game
Not sure if this could help anyone in the future, but after restoring the save data for like 5 other games, turns out i got no problem for any of them. Not even the "an exception occurred" screen. So this could be related to the european version of the game even though it works just fine so far.- KkJin

Yeah i've seen that list, but it also says that the european version works perfectly even though it doesn't for me (same "corrupted save data" issue as the US version), while it worked on my own flashcart (which only works on Ds). Maybe there's different versions of the european rom. I'll try...- KkJin

Hi, I know this subject has been brought up many times over the years but i still can't find a way to solve this problem anywhere. Basically, the game plays fine, but the save data always end up corrupted whenever you start the game after playing once. I found on other threads, forums etc that...- KkJin

Precisely. That may be the reason why i started my own thread actually. I just said the error message was similar, and took it as an example bc that's the closest i could find to my situation. But nvm. i'll try restoring the saves of my 2 other games and if i find something "interesting" about...- KkJin

Sorry, my wording wasn't clear enough. I started the version i got from hshop. The one i put my previous save file (from the physical copy) into. And it seems to work perfectly with the imported save. And since it worked before i put the save file in, and is working right now, i guess the rom...- KkJin
