It seems this is the only option for now haha. However I'm using my steam deck to remote play, but the updates don't auto install, so there doesn't seem to be any troubles if left downloaded.
I booted up my PS4 the other day to play bloodborne and noticed it was on OFW 7.50. If I want to do this in the future, is there any way to block updates?
Pirating on PC is risky business. Having an anti virus is not enough to prevent an attack, one of the reasons I switched to Mac. I could never resist the temptation to download piracy.
Not as far as I know. I have tried removing assets (videos in other languages I won't use) and similars, but not all games will want to boot either way.
I may try the new ram site, and download more RAM to my Switch. Not sure if ddr3 is the right ram
for it tho. Edit- no it uses floppy Ram, just like @AncientBoi
