    Yes, this is what most people using jailbroken ps5 are doing. NVME in USB enclosure. And assuming the stuttering audio is ever resolved, you could move it to the internal m.2 slot at a later date.

    I haven’t tried it myself, but I have read other reports that yes, even a slow hdd in a USB enclosure will produce stutter free gameplay, albeit with particularly slow loading times.
