Hacking Hack ROM to force a Language

I didn't realize that GBATemp allows users to attach files. Those are now attached, so I don't need to upload them to Google Drive. That should fix the download issues.

Hacking Hack ROM to force a Language

So I noticed there was an Action Replay code to force a NDS game to force the required language: https://gbatemp.net/threads/force-the-ds-dsi-games-language-with-an-ar-code.478344/ I have figured out a way to hack the NDS rom to force the required language, instead of using Action Replay codes...

    DS Download Play Compatibilities?

So there is this tool: https://mariomasta64.me/dsi-shiz/applications/windows/DS_Demo_DeCompress.zip Use DSBuff to unpack the NDS rom: https://www.romhacking.net/utilities/1214/ If you can find the roms of the DS Download Station cartridges (), use the above tool to convert the demo files (I...

    DS Download Play Compatibilities?

It is possible to convert convert NDS files that are sent over DS Download Content so they run on a Flash Cart (basically just makes it a standard .nds file). I have the tool on my computer. I will have look.

Hacking [RELEASE] Phacox's Injector (NES/SNES/N64/GBA/NDS for Wii U)

Cool injector. What would be nice is to be able to enter a separate Long Title when generating the images, instead of using the Long Title from the Main section. For example, "Advance Wars: Dual Strike" has to use two lines for the image, but you can use 1 line for the text when hovering over...

Tutorial Wii U - Nintendo DS – Virtual Console Inject Guide

@UserMCSkull Sorry for the late response. The latest update of Python is not compatible with FunKii anymore. Thankfully there is a Windows version that does the same job I have provided an updated link on the guide. I have taken the required photos, and will hopefully update the guide soon.

Star Wars Episode 1: Racer faces a delay a day prior to its release date

Well the N64 versions supports the 4MB Expansion Pak, which does make the graphics look better (for a N64 game at least). The Dreamcast is better, but it doesn't feel likes it pushing what the Dreamcast could do. Using VGA, the game looks really good.

Tutorial Wii U - Nintendo DS – Virtual Console Inject Guide

@Sarcose Thanks for the information for the FunKiiU. Two of my Wii Us both ended up with Nand Flash errors and became paper weights. Plus having to transfer my account was not fun. SO it sort of killed my mood in updating this guide. On the bright side, my currently Wii U has been soft modded...

SEGA Ages version of Sonic 2 and Puyo Puyo 2 will launch this month, for the Nintendo Switch

Well people are going to be disappointed by that misleading statement. They show no screenshots to back this up, and the screenshots on Sega's US website don't back this up either. One screenshot shows the character's bio's in English, but that's an extra feature that is part of the interface...

SEGA Ages version of Sonic 2 and Puyo Puyo 2 will launch this month, for the Nintendo Switch

The only text they modified for the game was the text when selecting a multiplayer mode. Everything else appears to have been left untranslated. All the menus and extra features like character descriptions are in English know. So I don't count that as a full translation. Saying that, you aren't...

Tutorial Wii U - Nintendo DS – Virtual Console Inject Guide

One can be found here, although not all of it is correct: https://wiki.gbatemp.net/wiki/WiiU_VC_NDS_injection I tried to figure how to get editing permissions, but that was more hassle than it was worth, so I gave up. For example, Sonic Rush and Adventures does work in Metroid Prime DS. It...

I love how insurance companies can deny procedures because they deem it not medically necessary despite the procedure being ordered by a doctor
  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
Going with that right now with a dental claim morons put the wrong company name and rejected claims been on hold an hour for the claims department
  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
@Sicklyboy, BTW is it better to go usb or bt for these mini Pcs figure you may know since you play with rack systems so much
  • Sicklyboy @ Sicklyboy:
Counting my blessings that my insurance hasn't caused me really any headache (yet, at least) despite the fact that I've been getting way more appointments and what not recently due
  • Sicklyboy @ Sicklyboy:
@K3Nv2, what do you mean, what are you trying to do?
  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
Just looking at a built in mouse pad keyboard combo
  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
I loose the dongle constantly but they may have better connection with usb frequency
  • Sicklyboy @ Sicklyboy:
Imo Bluetooth is always a option of last resort for me
  • Sicklyboy @ Sicklyboy:
Except for phones because it tends to be pretty reliable there
  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
I got a bad habit of taking out usb transmitter and loosing it because they can't you know print names on the damn things
  • Sicklyboy @ Sicklyboy:
But any desktop OS, I've never had anything but frustration trying to get Bluetooth devices to work reliably and stable. It might pair and connect once, and then next time I go to use it I have to delete and re-pair it again
  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
5.3 has been so good I think 6 is really going to make it stable
  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
I remember how shit 3 was
  • Sicklyboy @ Sicklyboy:
Ptouch labeler aren't terribly expensive, label shit yourself fam. This is the one I own and there are cheaper ones too https://www.amazon.com/Brother-P-Touch-PTH110BP-Portable-included/dp/B09QXYND6S
  • Sicklyboy @ Sicklyboy:
Solves part of the problem, mixing up which dongle is which. Then you just have to not lose them lol
  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
    Double D would be proud
    +1
  • Sicklyboy @ Sicklyboy:
Even my Xbox One controller I have it paired to my desktop over Bluetooth, it USUALLY works but sometimes it refuses to connect and I have to delete and re-pair it. Maddening
  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
Gigabytes built in mobo bt/wifi pairs pretty decent
  • Sicklyboy @ Sicklyboy:
    That's what I'm using :(
  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
Ran a driver update in device manager?
  • Sicklyboy @ Sicklyboy:
Not recently but I think it's less a driver issue and more just Windows having a garbage Bluetooth stack
  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
Could be I was having issues when I first upgraded it and didn't realiser gigabyte has specific driver revisions which is stupid
  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
Which is married to the boards revision
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
    Made my first review
  • RedColoredStars @ RedColoredStars:
I've gone years without ever removing a logitech usb transmitter. Across several replacements of keyboards and mice. It just stays put.
