Using interpolation at 165fps does some weird things! Little animations such as blinking and splashes go super fast. Most amusing, the jump cuts the mask salesman does that are supposed to add to his creepiness are smoothed out, so it just looks like he’s really fast.
The new 1.1.0 release, at least for me, has grainy cutscenes, but only the cut scenes. I’m running on default settings in 1440p.
Also is there a chance we will get save states for this do you think? It’s not listed in the upcoming features, which makes me think no.
Are either this or the recomp version likely to ever have save states? This is a game, if one ever existed, where the ability to pause and resume later would be nice.
I don’t have my hopes up for this one since Harkinian doesn’t, but what about the recomp?
You need a modded system to be able to do this. I suppose Nintendo could argue just owning a modded console is encouraging piracy or online cheating. It certainly enables it.
Here in Japan it’s illegal to modify your system, regardless of what you do or don’t do with it.
Feels like I'm getting 10000000 fps. It's weird.
I don't understand how autosave works. It doesn't seem to be autosaving, even though I have it toggled on. Honestly I would like to have save states, especially with this particular game. Or at least something akin to standby/sleep.
Hope we get release dates for Cat Quest 3 and Button City 2 and the new Toree. And I hope Loddlenauts annd Lone Fungus are announced for Switch.
Those are my wishes
