    My own personal dump of Killzone consists of x2 VPK files; one for the game and one for the update (both installed the "normal" way through Vitashell). This is a dump of the digital release though, I think that cart dumps are different in terms of how update files are handled.

    Doesn't matter, they will run fine. The only issue I can see is if you were to obtain trophies for a download-only game that isn't available in your country. This could be enough for Sony to ban your PSN/console. I'm not saying they will, but theoretically they could.
