Tutorial Install developer firmware on retail 3DS

It has been a while since I messed with 3DS firmwares so this might be a while to figure out. Answering these would help a lot: What type of 3DS do you have? (n3DS, o3DS, o2DS, etc) What firmware version are you installing? What luma version are you on?

Thank you Nintendo for a hundred copies of CardRomHeaderChecker spread across the gigaleaks. I really need to check my card's ROM header. I need all those hundreds of slightly different copies of the same app to check my card's ROM header. Thank you. Much appreciated.

I'm lucky with my immune system (plus had some help from Mr. Gates) so thankfully it wasn't terrible. I know plenty of other people who had it worse than me and it sounds like it's awful. I'm glad I don't get the full experience.

Finally got COVID-19! Had it from tuesday night until yesterday afternoon. It wasn't too bad except for the fact that I had a sore throat the entire time that made it painful to drink anything. I am really happy to be over it now though.

A lot of the "I'm leaving" posts really feel like they're more for pity/attention than anything. Maybe that's not how they're intended, but with how rarely people actually leave it just seems that way.

Hacking Hardware New Nintendo 3DS XL Louvre

We have one dump of a louvre 3DS, but we don't know what differences might be in another. Might be cool leftovers we wouldn't have seen otherwise. It will throw up an error without the louvre stuff.

They release a lot... and don't release a lot.

No, no, no, no, no. They've got knowledge, but they have tons of shit that they just hold onto. It's the attitude of "it's preserved if it's on my hard drive" with a reluctance to share it elsewhere. They'd spit up some garbage like "let's ask the louvre if we can upload the dump" and none of us...

Why is a non-working show users button available in starting a DM? Etc. I'll always prefer if people write me a message in the "real" PMs.

Navigating the chatbox always feels clumsy to me. The main channel is fine, but finding others and using DMs is weird. Why do you select your individual DMs in show users rather than having a dropdown in the main sidebar? (same goes for normal chat rooms, should be a dropdown) Why can you only...

Comment by 'rvtr' in 'DSBrick is safer than you think (and FlashMe is a lie)'

Also for anyone saying only idiots bridge SL1, there are a lot of idiots. I find tons of SL1 bridged DS lites. I've gotten a lot of DS lites DS motherboards. Usually 1/10 have bridged SL1. Whether it's smart or not it's to do, people will solder.

@tech3475 I've got DS phats... but only the motherboards. So no. However, the write protect should be on the chips themselves. Unless the DS phat has poorly designed traces that bridge SL1, the chips will function the exact same as on a lite.

Comment by 'rvtr' in 'DSBrick is safer than you think (and FlashMe is a lie)'

@KleinesSinchen write protection shouldn't differ between different DSes. It's a feature of the chip itself. The DS is just what holds the "switch". And as for FlashMe safety, people will solder. To be fair those are typically the people with the knowledge to unbrick, but it's still an added...

Did you know that DSBrick isn't actually that dangerous? Or that FlashMe only puts you more at risk of bricking? Well, you'd better get reading then! https://gbatemp.net/blogs/dsbrick-is-safer-than-you-think-and-flashme-is-a-lie.19645/

When I worked for Dell we had access to data about military contracts and addresses for high ranking people.
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
I personally handled a call from the second highest person at Raytheon. That call bothered me a lot... The guy was nice and smart what bothered me was the way management basically just blew him off instead of going the extra mile to help him.
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
In the end that call ended up costing Dell millions in lost contracts with Raytheon, and really the issue could have been solved for like 450 bucks lol

sometimes I wonder why anyone would ever buy mega man x legacy collection 2
  • NinStar @ NinStar:
I always thought that capcom shuffled the games in these collection, but apparently they are all in chronological order, which makes legacy collection 2 worthless
