    Hacking 3.4E WII!

You are of course correct when doing an unofficial update however updating via nintendo will overwrite boot2 with boot2 v4 and you wont be able to install bootmii.

    Hacking 3.4E WII!

Dont update to 4.2 you will lose the ability to back up your nand and more importantly restore it if you brick your wii! As stated do your research before attempting to softmod. I found This site very informative. BTW my wii is 3.4E softmodded and I'm able to play every game that I've tried...

    Hacking WiiFlow

In wiiflow make a new folder and name it boxcovers, size I think should be 1024X680 or lower and I think you will need to name your covers correctly for wiiflow to recognise them eg RMCP01 for mario kart. You may also need a folder named cache, not sure.

cIOS38 rev14 is the latest one and replaced cIOS36 and if you installed it without errors it means that you already have Trucha bug.

Did you already install cIOS36 rev10 or higher as part of the guide you used? If you did then there is no need to do that step.

I only had a 4gb and it works fine. You just have to remove it when it finishes dumping the first part, copy to computer then delete and dump the second part.
