ROM Hack [RELEASE] Story of Seasons: Trio of Towns - Hamtaro & Cheburashka Restoration Patch

Hi there, Unfortunately, I was not able to get this working on the European version the last time I tried. I'm sure it's possible, but the internal layout of the European version is really weird, as there is a separate version of just about everything due to the multiple different languages...

ROM Hack [WIP] Story of Seasons: Trio of Towns - True Love Edition Patch

This is incredible news. This issue has plagued my patch (and yours I suppose) for over a year!!! I couldn't figure out how to fix it. Nothing made any sense. I gave up. And now the solution was this simple the whole time? It's crazy! I never considered messing with the 1.1 cia because my...

ROM Hack [WIP] Story of Seasons: Trio of Towns - True Love Edition Patch

WHAT?? Wait... Hold on, this is the TLE patch thread. And it was my patch that had this issue, not TLE (as far as I know). You're saying you fixed the Mushroom Log issue in my Hamtaro/Cheburashka restoration patch??

ROM Hack [RELEASE] Story of Seasons: Trio of Towns - Hamtaro & Cheburashka Restoration Patch

Yes, I'm aware of this. It's actually been reported to me several times already. Sorry to disappoint, but I have no idea what causes this nor how to fix it. It's weird, because I haven't touched anything to do with item data. The bulk of the patch is text replacements, and even then, the game...

Hacking Three (or more) controllers on GameCube backups?

You're welcome! They should be. If you look at the controller configurations in Nintendont's files, you will see configurations for Dualshock 2, 3, and 4 controllers. But third-party controllers don't always work, so keep that in mind.

Hacking Three (or more) controllers on GameCube backups?

I'm 99.99% sure that HID to VPAD does absolutely nothing in GameCube/Wii Mode. It only works in Wii U mode, so setting up controllers before booting into a GameCube/Wii game is pointless. If your DualShock controller worked in the first place, it means Nintendont has built-in support for it...

ROM Hack [RELEASE] Story of Seasons: Trio of Towns - Hamtaro & Cheburashka Restoration Patch

You're the second person to report this. I honestly have no idea what causes it, and I haven't been able to figure out how to stop it. It's such an erroneous bug that I'm not sure where to look for a fix. I didn't touch anything related to items, so nothing like that should be happening. For it...

ROM Hack [RELEASE] Story of Seasons: Trio of Towns - Hamtaro & Cheburashka Restoration Patch

Everything within ConstData is very fragile, and simply overwriting the old file isn't going to work well. To my understanding, Silrae hasn't added support for my updated Cheburashka patch, only my old patch. I could easily merge the two for you, but I don't want to undermine anything Silrae is...

Might I suggest taking a closer look at the ROM hack section of said site?

ROM Hack [RELEASE] Story of Seasons: Trio of Towns - Hamtaro & Cheburashka Restoration Patch

Sorry to hear you are having trouble. Since you are using a PAL system, you will not be able to directly update the game through your 3DS. You will have to download it on your computer using something such as FunKeyCIA or PlaiCDN. You will then need to manually install the resulting .cia to...

Hardware Nintendo Switch paid online service starts this September

I can understand paying $20 a year for a subscription service with extra benefits, but locking online behind a paywall on top of that is very much an insult to all Switch owners. I don't have an issue with paid online as a concept. It's understandable that companies can't provide online for...

Hardware Nintendo Switch paid online service starts this September

Wow, I can't wait to have the privilege to pay for Splatoon 2's awful, horrific, peer-to-peer online system that has little to no dedicated servers. Now, when I get disconnected every other match, I can have a nice warm fuzzy feeling that I'm paying for that absolutely sub-par experience.

Homebrew [Release]JK's SaveManager - Homebrew CIA Save manager.

Is there any way to store the save using it's title ID instead of it's name? I'm having quite a few problems with it because it keeps trying to use the game's name. For one, Story of Seasons and Story of Seasons: Trio of Towns both show up in JKSM as "STORY OF SEASONS," making saves show up in...

ROM Hack [RELEASE] Story of Seasons: Trio of Towns - Hamtaro & Cheburashka Restoration Patch

You won't need to extract your Japanese game again. Since you used my previous patch, download the .zip attached to the first post, extract it to a folder, and copy the Japanese RomFS to the folder you just extracted. The only thing you need to do is rename it, so that the filename matches what...

  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
I think you only get like 425gb on a series s hard drive, so you get 1, 2 next gen games max
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
@BigOnYa, so you need to have another series s if you wanna play more games?
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Nuh you buy extra HD n add to it, but not cheap
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
@BigOnYa, how can a console have more than 1 hard drives?
  • MysticStarlight @ MysticStarlight:

  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
Speaking of my PS3 i havent downloaded any games yet bc my wifi is too slow
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
and also because blackouts here are very common and that could damage the console
  • MysticStarlight @ MysticStarlight:
Do you have a surge protector or an UPS?
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Yea but to play the next gen games, you must have those games on internal, or buy the official ssd expansion cards, which are expensive
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
@MysticStarlight, dunno what each one of those are
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
@MysticStarlight, my PS3 was already modded when my dad bought it for me and my brother
  • MysticStarlight @ MysticStarlight:
A surge protector is a device that protects your electronics from fluctuations. I recommend having your console plugged into one of those
  • MysticStarlight @ MysticStarlight:
An UPS is even better because it has an internal battery that keeps your system on even if the power goes out, but it's much more expensive obviously
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
@MysticStarlight, oh i recall seeing one in some in the houses of some relatives, including my dad's apartment
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
@MysticStarlight, although whatever device we plug into them stops getting power anyways lol
  • MysticStarlight @ MysticStarlight:
    that's weird
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
@MysticStarlight, and oh i was talking about ups
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:

  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
Surge protectors are what i was talking about
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
Yea I got confused for a bit
