It appears that a reddit user while using YouTube got a questionnaire asking if they would buy a "Switch Attached" more info below:
Edit: I'm getting fucking tired of everyone saying that "tHE nAMe Is ShITTY" and "ThIS wiLL be A :yayu: (WII u) SitUatiOn" when they should remember that CODENAMES EXIST AND ARE STILL HEAVILY USED AND THAT THIS IS VERY PROBABLY JUST A WEIRD-ASS CODENAME

If it's not just a fake screenshot, this is very interesting. I wouldn't be at all surprised if this was Google using automation to make up these surveys and it's pulled info it shouldn't have.

If it was fake I would have picked a different name tbh like, wtf does attach mean? Like attach the joy cons or smth?

I don't know what to think about it. It definitely sounds like the kind of vague and weird thing Nintendo would call it.

Honestly, who knows. Maybe it'll be some kind of modular console with a range of different attachments, kind of like the Wii Remote but scaled up.

I don't believe it's legit. I don't think even N would screw up a name that badly. Wii U was a terrible name, but Switch Attached is by far worse.
Maybe it's a codename

I think that it's already been confirmed that Nintendo can call their console anything. ANYTHING.

Wii - Waste product
Wii U - Ambulance noises

What Nintendo needs to avoid is another Wii U/3DS fiasco where customers either (1) didn't know they existed or (2) thought they were unnecessary add-on's to the Wii/DS.

If that's true that is the dumbest name since, well Wii U. Do you want parents doing Christmas shopping thinking your new console is a new console or do you want them to think it's an accessory for the one their child already has?

@K3Nv2, afaik yeah but I also don't think that it runs on home grade routers like openwrt/dd-wrt does. OPNsense runs on full-on x86 PC hardware

Sadly openwrt seems to be dying for support unless it's just. Anew name

idk, I mean it had a new release back in March https://github.com/openwrt/openwrt/releases
