So I'm seeing some reports that the bin files from one game can be renamed and used to play other games on the MigSwitch, while others are saying it won't work. What's the consensus? Has anyone confirmed this on video?

Yes, it works just make sure the file names match
Awesome. I was worried they weren't swappable and I'd have to wait for someone to share bin files from their own cart, or dump each cart myself.
Just make sure the XCI and initial data file come from the same game and all of the files have the same and proper names
ahh ok thats where i was going wrong i was trying the bin files from 1 and the XCI from the net
Yea that’s not gonna work unless the game is reuploaded with its matching initial data

Eventhough the New 3DS XL is more powerful, I still feel like the DS Lite was a more polished system. It's a real shame that it never got an XL variant keeping the GBA slot. You'd have to go on AliExpress and buy an ML shell to give a DS phat the unofficial "DS Lite" treatment, and that's the best we'll ever get I'm afraid.+1 -

@Jayro, I don't see whats so special about the DS ML, its just a DS lite in a phat shell. At least the phat model had louder speakers, whereas the lite has a much better screen.+1 -
