Yesterday I installed wiiflow on my old wii and everything was running fine until today when I added xmen legends 2. There's a screen that comes up the very first time you launch a gc game on wiiflow that says something along the lines of "creating save data chunks" (can't remember the exact wording) but the system froze during that screen so I restarted it via the power button.

Now whenever I try to launch that specific game on usbloader, wiiflow and nintendont it shuts off the system (the power light turns red).

Every other game works fine its just that one that does it. I've tried deleting it and reinstalling it and have also tried installing a completely different version of the game but it still does the same thing. Whenever I launch it straight from nintendont it always gets to the same spot shown in the screenshot attached before shutting off the system.

Would appreciate any help. Thanks in advance.

Delete the memory card file for that game, assuming you didn't change the default Nintendont setting which uses a separate virtual memcard for each game.

Holy crap dude youre a life saver that actually fixed it. Thank you so much!

I have another quick question if you don't mind. sometimes when launching a gc game I get a "check for multi game and region failed" error but it works when I launch it again. I was just wondering if that's just a normal thing that happens with wiiflow or if it could be an issue with my drive.

That seems to be a read issue, Nintendont is having issues reading from your drive, it could indicate a failing drive.
