be nice you two.

gbatemp is for all consoles, but gets a huge influx of people when it comes to homebrew and exploits. the switch, 3ds, and the wii/u scene were/are more active than the playstation and xbox scenes because there were more developments and quicker developments in the homebrew scene. the ps3 was at the top for a bit there when there were major breakthroughs, as was xbox 360 jtagging, just to illustrate how things can change. come to think of it, i wonder how active ps3 development still is...

so, in that way, folks tend to talk more Nintendo than anything else. but it's certainly not limited to nintendo stuff. we even have the toxic cesspools of edge-of-forum and political stuff. I'd avoid those, though.

And this one's gimmick will be : Kirby, Samus, Link, Starfox, heck even Pikachu driving through tracks across tracks that take place in different games

I mean, who cares about fking Cheese Land ? Just get SR388 that'll be more exciting. Who cares about Sweet Sweet Canyon ? Does it expand Mario's universe ? Just get some level from Kirby or something it's more fun

Just to clarify, I never once said it was limited to Nintendo stuff. I said it was predominately Nintendo related. The numbers indicate as such.

it is for now anyway. i do think it's less of a "this forum" thing and more of a "this is where all the developments are happening". can easily change if anything big happens in the xbox or sony areas. though sony and microsoft just make pcs now, and only nintendo is left making unique stuff, so i don't see it shifting too much.

fingers crossed for a Microsoft or sony handheld. that'd spark some fun.

I am still using that 1893 design for paper clip and am still happy with Switch. They are fine as they are. Undecided if I will get the M4 iPad, perhaps I don't need it and you can laugh at me if you do get it.

I love how Nintendo seems to be on track for another poorly timed release date. Apparently they can't comprehend the importance of releasing before December. :rolleyes:

If the new Switch is enticing enough, it should sell nicely. It just won't sell as nicely as it could have if released earlier.
