Hi there!
I've recently ported SDL2 to the Nintendo Wii and GameCube, and while it generally works well, users have reported (and it's a problem I do see myself) that some of the top and bottom rows of the screen are cut off, meaning they don't fit into the TV screen.

In order to debug that, and to figure out what is the best video mode to use, I've written a small tool called wii-screen, which allows selecting the various video modes configured in libogc and also change their parameters in real time (this latter part can potentially be dangerous for your TV, so better not use it unless you know what you are doing).

I would appreciate if people here could download the app (you can find it in the OpenShop/Homebrew browser, or download it from here) and write a comment with this information:
1) The TV standard used in the region where you live (PAL, NTSC, MPAL)
2) What is the video mode reported by wii-screen when you launch it
3) If the image appears in full or if it's cut (you should be able to see the blue coordinates of all 4 corners)
4) If the image appears in 4:3 or 16:9 format
5) If by pressing some buttons on the TV remote (the button would typically be called "format" or "aspect") you can "fix" the image to appear in full, without cuts
6) What are the video modes selectable by wii-screen that show an uncut image (note that if you select an unsupported mode your TV will show a blank screen - if that happens, press "HOME" on the wiimote to exit the app and the old video mode will be restored after a couple of seconds)

Please note that I do not take responibility from broken TV sets, so please don't change any other setting than the video mode (the first element at the top). :-)
