@Nikokaro Noam Chomsky wrote that the ship is not a thing in itself, but a conceptualization from our minds in our signification of reality. Therefore, the ship is the same, because of perceptual continuity through time and space. As long as the ship looks the same, performs the same and is interacted with the same, it is the same from the human standpoint of signification of reality.

That's what I said. It is the same only by linguistic convention and practical utility. But even its space-time continuity is only appearance and a simplification of convenience.

Prison is one part retribution, one part rehabilitation and another part protecting society at large. Regardless what you pretend about cell renewal a person who murders or robs and gets a sentence that long is likely still a danger even that many years on

@Dark_Phoras Why every ten or fifteen years? Every day, hour, minute the body and mind are renewed. Atoms regenerate at every moment, and about the mind, it depends on the degree of maturity, independence, detachment from the past, openness, no-stagnation, courage to evolve.

I went to auction at a mom/pops video game store few months ago that was closing, and bought 11 slims for $200, 1 was DOA but 10 work fine. so hella deal. Already rgh3'ed 8 of them. But most younger kids don't even want anymore, unless it plays stupid "fortnight", or newer shit. -
