While I hate it too, there's a way to block scammers from reaching your content. But at this point, I don't know if Elon removed the blocking feature already...

I used to use the platform cause I can ignore the controversy, but after I had too much burntout, I started to only use the app for browsing like all of the other apps that I have but only use for said reason.

I wish that it wasn't like that. All this time I thought Elon was improving it, but it's getting worse to the point of literally taking something from us and locking it behind Premium (Tweetdeck was free for everyone in which I used a lot, and now you got to pay for it)

Its really frustrating. I switched to Mastodon/Fediverse when the announcement came out, and while I figured Elon's acquisition would be a sh*tshow, I didn't expect it to get this bad, just like, Facebook levels of bad

I don't really trust the Fediverse. I don't know why, but it doesn't really feel right. Threads sucks, Mashdoon is not really well known, Bluesky is locked behind a code that only friends that have the code will give them to you, and there's another one that I just heard about recently that also involved the Fediverse.
