I think the OP meant you can use your finger for pressing on-screen buttons. But for tasks that require precision like drawing a path in Pikmin 3, the stylus is required. Personally, I used my fingernail in Pikmin 3 instead of the stylus. My display has a screen protector so no issues. I would...- bowser

Yeah I'm hearing good things about it. I would have liked it to have the 3D mode LED though. Too bad they got rid of it. My 3DS is in mint condition and I'm thinking of selling it. It's unbelievable how much the XL is going for on eBay. They are well over $200 at an average price of around $250. Some sellers are even pricing them at $300!
