    I think in your case it would be better to use one of the Online Compilers then since they can still work at home with it however if you want to setup Linux just for coding as far as i know Suse does have an extra Setup Profile for that. Or as mentioned before CodeBlocks as portable version ;)

    Your IPv6 is your public IP too ;) Nowadays you sometimes still get a "mix" of IPv4 and IPv6 but in the future IPv6 will be the only IP you get. As far as i know your IPv4 will be even shared with other cutomers but your IPv6 IP is only yours.

    Dunno what you talking about you seem to be pretty misinformed. There are very few games where that is the case and you can choose between GOG or Steam then and IF there is a DRM Free Version it's always available.
