Hacking How is this harddrive for the USB Loader?

I've picked up a 640gig Seagate at Office Depot for $95. 3.5" Style w/ the external power. Bitch of it is, the USB loader doesn't always recognize it, so I have to power cycle the HD sometimes. Once it's running, it stays, but getting the initial connection is annoying. Never had that...

    Hacking What have I missed?

I tried System Menu 4.0 but some of the other homebrew didn't like it (Preloader, specifically). A new Softmii is due out soon I believe, specifically coded to work with 4.0. If 3.2 is working for you so far, I'd stick with it until you either have a specific need to update or until the...

Hacking USB Loader 1.4 slower by 18 times compared to 1.1

1.1 is deffinatly faster. I've had ZERO problems with my drive (old WD My Book). Actual drive is WD800BB; 80gig IDE, 2MB cache. Tests at 55mb/sec under hdpram. Wii Sports took about 15mins in 1.4, and 56secs in 1.1

Hacking Backuploader 0.3g install problems after update to system 4

I've just done the same process - going from 3.2U to 4.0. The only issue I've found so far is that Gamma Launcher code dumps when it attempts to reboot. This is from the Gamma Channel loader.

Hacking [Question]Looking for two flash carts to get.

2x AceKards & 2x 4gig microSD's would ring up at around $45 USD from FocalPrice, however, it'll take about 3-4 weeks to get them delivered.

Hacking Cheapest place to get a flash card?

Gaming Any Games that would last a long time?

I'll throw in another vote for Chrono Trigger. I'm about 25hrs in and up to the final boss (unless I can go back and figure out how/where I butchered this sidequest). Using a Walk-Through and a very good strategy, I think it could possibly be beaten in ~5hrs. Going for all the quests, items...
