This is the Nintendo DS section. Welcome. 1714075953 I have three DSi consoles and none of them properly read this cart. Two of them don't see the cart at all and my DSiXL sees the cart but gets an error when I try to start it.

Hardware NDS Lite Repair - orange charging light flashes for a second when plugged in

So many people suggesting to check the fuses when OP clearly stated that was already checked. I have several with the same issue, most of the ones I've seen have liquid damage and corroded vias all over the board. I have one board that looks pristine, vias all look good, but has the same issue...

    Misc HomePass help on DD-WRT

This is normal. You will probably find that if you try it a few times it will finally connect. What's happening is your router is rebooting itself every time it gets a new MAC address, and when a router goes down, so does the internet connection and the nintendo zone. Sometimes you can stay...

I gave up on this guys. Feel free to close this thread. I bought a cheap router and flashed it with DD-WRT instead. Confirmed Working: TP-Link TL-WR740N Ver 4.27 running DD-WRT v24-sp2 (04/18/14) std build 23919

    Misc HomePass help on DD-WRT

I just bought a new router (TP-Link TL-WR740N V 4.27) and uploaded the DD-WRT firmware which was a piece of cake. No TFTP needed. Confirmed Working: TP-Link TL-WR740N Ver 4.27 running DD-WRT v24-sp2 (04/18/14) std build 23919 Working: Nintendo Zone + Internet Access + Streetpass Tags What...

Misc Problem with HomePass in second SSID

Does your DD-WRT have a MAC Address Clone tab under Wireless? Mine is missing that tab so I have no way to clone the MAC address. On My router the MAC Address Clone option was under Setup tab. I didn't realize you had to enable this before the MAC cycler would work.

Misc Mac OS X Streetpass Relay (Homepass) help

Here's some more interesting information. When I set the MAC address using sudo ifconfig en1 ether 4E:53:50:4F:4F:46 Then I run Airport -I I get a different BSSID than the MAC above. I get the REAL MAC address not the spoofed one. Down the rabbit hole I go...

Misc Mac OS X Streetpass Relay (Homepass) help

Guys I need some help with my home streetpass relay. I have set up a working Nintendo Zone but I have never gotten a single streetpass tag from it. My 3DS XL can connect to the internet with it and the Nintendo Zone lets me all the way in. This is without having any internet connections set...

Speaking of my PS3 i havent downloaded any games yet bc my wifi is too slow
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
and also because blackouts here are very common and that could damage the console
  • MysticStarlight @ MysticStarlight:
Do you have a surge protector or an UPS?
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Yea but to play the next gen games, you must have those games on internal, or buy the official ssd expansion cards, which are expensive
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
@MysticStarlight, dunno what each one of those are
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
@MysticStarlight, my PS3 was already modded when my dad bought it for me and my brother
  • MysticStarlight @ MysticStarlight:
A surge protector is a device that protects your electronics from fluctuations. I recommend having your console plugged into one of those
  • MysticStarlight @ MysticStarlight:
An UPS is even better because it has an internal battery that keeps your system on even if the power goes out, but it's much more expensive obviously
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
@MysticStarlight, oh i recall seeing one in some in the houses of some relatives, including my dad's apartment
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
@MysticStarlight, although whatever device we plug into them stops getting power anyways lol
  • MysticStarlight @ MysticStarlight:
    that's weird
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
@MysticStarlight, and oh i was talking about ups
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
    No not that one
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
Surge protectors are what i was talking about

  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
On the series s/x you can use a external HD but any next gen games must be on your internal ssd, or you can buy a ssd expansion card, but pricey. Any xbone, 360, or og Xbox games can be played from external tho.
