    The floppy disk based loaders for the Mega Drive and SNES are still popular and collectible and expensive. Same as the Dr. 64 & Z64, come to think of it. I do feel that homebrew has become a smokescreen for piracy, by many people, and that it has lost it's way, to some extent.

    The newer dash updates blow the e-fuses, which are required for the Jtag hack. From all news so far, it is incredibly unlikely that we will be able to perform something like the Jtag on newer consoles, as well as simpler solutions being ruled out entirely.

    From my own experimenting, I've found that it works every time from the ISO on a USB HDD, but that as a disc, it has less than favourable results. Someone else may be able to confirm that I am right, or prove me wrong (which would be nice, in this case)

    You can't do it ... well, not as a burned disc, anyway. Have you tried just using XeXLoader to boot the unpatched ISO from a USB HDD? It should work fine, that way.

    I just bought a Fiat 500 ... seriously. Brand new, 2010 plates, all that. I paid for it, but she chose it, for the times when I'm not driving. Plus, it gets great milage, and I live in the middle of nowhere, which is actually quite a feat, when you live in England.
