Hacking Installing Wii channels to vWii

Do you have an original Wii? If so you can create a WAD from an installed Netflix channel on a Wii. Let me know if the links are no longer good as I'm posting this from my Wii U browser and not able to test downloads :) Copied from the helpful temper AwesomeMariofan - I was able to use...

Gaming Wii u wii shop license

Just because you re-phrased the question doesn't mean you're not asking the exact same thing. What color is the sky? Is the sky blue? I heard the sky is red, is that true? Does air scatter blue sunlight more than it scatters red? These are all essentially the same question. Much like your...

laudern is trolling you, and rightfully so. As I told you in the first thread you created, you are screwed. If this thread is locked, DO NOT OPEN ANOTHER. Joostinonline is incredibly patient and much more wise in the ways of Wii Hacking then I am, and even I know you're SOL. Mods should...

Hacking Wii <-> vWii (Wii U) Downloaded Title - Is there a way to play on both?

Here's some light guidance for you: Download WAD from interwebs for each game you want Install WAD using one of the many walkthroughs on GBATemp Enjoy it on both systems To confirm WAD is OK, download from multiple sources and compare file sizes, I guess. Or use Dolphin as mentioned above...

Hacking Bypass System Updates and Still Access Wii U Mode!

No worries and I'm glad you didn't take offense :) I appreciate any and all input and tinkering because I certainly can't code or read code. I'm just at work so I didn't have 7 minutes to watch a video!

Hacking wii to wii u transfer nand restore

I don't remember what it's called as I've never used it; try searching Wiibrew.org or google. I know I've seen people talk about it on gbatemp before.

Hacking Bypass System Updates and Still Access Wii U Mode!

Thanks I appreciate that! No offense to original poster but with the video and link to his site this seemed like more of a 'Hey look at me I'm in the scene now' post then anything else. Again no offense meant, I just don't get the need people have to try and be an internet celebrity; let your...

Hacking wii to wii u transfer nand restore

Now we're getting somewhere ;p No clue what was deleted without having my hands on your Wii before and after the transfer; can only assume any games that were on your Wii System Menu and their corresponding saves. I think you can save your existing Save Games to an SD Card prior to doing the...

Hacking wii to wii u transfer nand restore

You mean like the technical info provided in this thread? I don't know why I'm still trying; I must be a glutton for punishment. Once you do the NAND restore you will only be able to use software that was present on the Wii Memory at the time of NAND Backup; you will also only be able to use...

[April Fools!] SEGA's Back (In Black... and White... and Red)!

April Fool's Day - the worst thing to happen to the internet since the invention of the troll. I don't know what's worse - the annual Dreamcast 2 announcement or those in this thread who are trying to keep the gag going.

Hacking Hacking the Wii to work with Wii U Pro Controller: Progress Guide

Offering random strangers money isn't going to get you what you want. Learn to code the compatibility yourself, use a gamecube to classic controller adapter, or pick up a gigaware Gamecube controller that works like a classic controller. I'd love to see a third party accessory manufacturer...

It's impossible to help the helpless; again, this has been answered already in this very thread. If you can't understand the answer you shouldn't be asking the question. I will try ONE last time; between my answer, Team Fail's answer, and all the info freely available on the internet, you...

Hacking Hacking the Wii to work with Wii U Pro Controller: Progress Guide

If you're so willing to spend money to get a controller working, buy a classic controller. I think the best way for Wii U Pro Controller support is going to be custom firmware on the Wii U Pro controller itself. I've mentioned that in other threads, and I have no technical expertise to back it...

Hacking wii to wii u transfer nand restore

When you do a NAND restore following a System transfer, the System reverts to its pre-transfer status SO LONG AS you do not enter the shop. I'm not sure about other internet-connected channels or if the Nintendo WiFI Connection does the same, but once you enter the shop it resets your Wii Shop...

  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
Yeah but if your main goal is just to play n64 and GameCube you can save about $50 and have the portability option
    +1
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
True, but on 2 monitors at 4k. Its just want you want really, to each they own.
  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
For a kids aspect Anbernic would be the better option they'd probably melt over the price on a good 4k display

  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
For that texasroo guy, I'd recommend the Spell and speak as his first system.

  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
So they buy a pi5 kit for about $150 and say a 28" 4k display probably looking around $400 total
  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
They'll be getting in the territory of portable Pcs anyway
    +1
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Again you get what you pay for, its like buying a S series for $300 but its only 1440p native, if you want true 4k, gotta get the X model for $500. But yea you right, when moms buying it anyways, you gotta stay cheap.
  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
They could use HD out on their TV no real need for a monitor these days tbh the purists will disagree
  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
I'm kind of phasing out on the need for wanting all these consoles cool to have but they just become dust build ups
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
I here ya there, I have too many myself, and have hard time letting them go, since most of mine I've modded at some point. Anymore I just play Switch on the go, seriesx at home.

  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
I'm designing my own entertainment cabinet for my man cave, to store all my systems, then I'm also designing a power supply/HDMI switcher so I can switch to whichever system I want, and power it also. Already picked up the cabinet board, but tinkering with my drawings before start
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
But yea, I have frogger arcade cabinet that I gutted and put a Pi4 then Pi5 into, but it never gets played much anymore, should sell it. Even when the kids come over, they don't want to play on it, just the xbox. TMNT and Simpson's arcade is still so fun on it, esp w 2 players.
  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:

  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
