Yuzu emulator shutting down, paying Nintendo 2.4 million in lawsuit settlement

Both of these forks are SCREAMING "Hey guys I'm making an NES emulator for (new console), I just need coders, an artist, and community manager!". One is a 14 year old who already deleted it, the other is rife with typos and begging for devs to help him even get the code running in the first...

    My PC-98 translation projects

I remember sneaking onto the computer at 2am to play Season of Sakura LOL. I based my Vita homebrew game's name on it, and in my game the school drama club is putting on the play "3 Sister Story" :rofl2:

The confidency in hardmodding a switch

Do not buy that Switch. It was probably blown up by a cheap charger and it could have taken out 1-3 major components that you will have to source and replace without even knowing if that will fix it. I'm seeing crazy numbers of switches for sale right now in facebook market and local 'yard...

The confidency in hardmodding a switch

At MINIMUM you will need a microscope and temperature controlled soldering iron. If you don't have those two things, just pay someone else to do it. The odds you will need them again is slim and you'll probably save about half the $ (or more)

    Game.com Emulator On 3DS

I had/have a real Game.com with Duke Nukem 3D and Sonic. It's INCREDIBLY boring and the screen blur is ATROCIOUS. Sonic is unplayable and Duke Nukem 3D you can only go forward and straef left and right, it's little more than an actual tiger handheld game. Everything about the system is BORING...

After six delays, Ubisoft's Skull & Bones finally has a release date

I played the beta test a little bit and gave up after I got to the first "town". It's exploration and crafting with MMO-level grinding and restrictions. It's going to flop hard.

Super Mario RPG has leaked online

Post game content only added an hour and a half for me, only because I had to retry some of them 3 times as they require perfect guard for every enemy attack. Total time was about 13 hours and the slightly different ending credits weren't worth it to me... I will say, the post game content...

I just recently picked up a n64 from a garage sell, and looking to mod it and add a HDMI port to it. https://www.ebay.com/itm/3548173115...044&customid=4f3038da73b61afddf7e5e90f4153856
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
I'd like to find a power strip and HDMI selector built in 1 unit, so I can select which game system I want, and will switch to that hdmi, and power on that plug/power supply only, so don't have all game systems powered all the time, but can't find anything like. May just have to make something myself.
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Maybe start a kick starter page and sell them, yea right. Big N would prob C&D me, not anything Big N related, but just because that's what they do nowdays. Then come out with they own in a year or so.
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@Xdqwerty, Nice. Which operating system are you installing?
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
@SylverReZ, windows 10 and some linux distro like linux mint
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
    dualbooth
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@Xdqwerty, Yeah, I'd recommend having another OS just in-case you want to play games.
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
At least Linux doesn't contain spyware than what Windows has.
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
    @SylverReZ, cuz of lag?
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@Xdqwerty, No. Whenever you use the internet on Windows, Microsoft collects personal data and installs bloatware that isn't necessarily needed, such as Edge.
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
    Speaking of which
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
    @SylverReZ,
I recall @impeeza mentioned some trick about not having bloatware when installing windows where you set up your country to "world" or smh like that

  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
Yes, you can debloat the operating system, but in some cases for me it just reinstalls them.

  • impeeza @ impeeza:
@Xdqwerty yes, when you are installing Windows on the first steps you are asked for your current location, you MUST to select «international» so no bloatware is installed, because the bloatware is location based. if this night I have some time I will setup a VM and take screenshots.
