Banning is done by Nintendo's servers, not the Switch itself. Nintendo COULD demand every Switch to send its current controller colors to the server it's trying to connect to, and they COULD blacklist you if these colors don't match any current retail colors, but so far they apparently don't.
I don't have that game's files, and currently no plans of "obtaining" them. (if ya know what I mean ;))
Should I ever get a hold of them, I can have a look and see if they can be ripped as easily as Splatoon's.
If you feel the colors you're looking for might be baked into the sprites that use...
I finished my script, you didn't tell me it's unneccessary I post my results, so here ya go:
The ones that say "Option" are the ones that get used when you enable colorblind mode.
"Msn_MothGreen" is unused.
Also keep in mind these are converted from floats, so some inaccuracy cannot be avoided.
Dude there's so many more. Inkluding an unused muddy green for Hero Mode.
I'm gonna write that script now, 'cause I'm bored and got nothing better to do :rofl2: If you feel it's redundant I post them, let me know within a couple hours.
I was gonna dump the in-game colors of Splatoon here, but I just found out they're (float, float, float) instead of (byte, byte, byte).
If you still want them in this thread I can write a script to convert them, 'cause no way in HELL am I gonna do all that by hand!
Hey, I thought of another noob question: Once a homebrew application to dump games (and potentially other installed software) is a thing, how feasible is it that it would dump the latest installed update alongside the game itself? Would that be possible at all if the application can only dump...
I've been told the news channel servers start with "bcat". In Fiddler I can see the Switch accesses the following servers:
bcat-topics-lp1.cdn.nintendo.net
bcat-list-lp1.cdn.nintendo.net
bcat-data-lp1.cdn.nintendo.net
When I open the eShop, it accesses
bugyo.hac.lp1.eshop.nintendo.net
You can...
Currently the latest version is 4.0.1. I'm on 4.0.0 and can access the eShop just fine. So you don't have to be on the absolute latest version. If you're below 4.0.0, you'll have to see for yourself.
Depends on which version it's on. If it's above 3.0.0, you lose the epic bug(TM), might as well just update, it gives you all sorts of cool new functionality.
If you're on 3.0.0, stay there for the epic homebrew(TM) that is gonna come eventually.
If you're below 3.0.0, buy (or borrow) the...
Oh wow the negativity is real. For both of you.
The current exploit used to run homebrew is on 3.0.0. If you want to wait on a lower firmware for more critical exploits (such as kernel exploits) to be released, do that. That's gonna lock you out of playing games which require a firmware version...
Enter the system settings, then scroll all the way down to "console" or whatever it's called in English. Underneath the system update button, it tells you which version you're currently on. If an update is downloaded, it won't tell you which version you're on, and instead it'll say "a system...
I guess my question goes here ...?
If I have my Switch user profile pic set to my Mii, and it gets sent to someone else's Switch because we play together online, is it being sent as a "Mii building instruction" and rendered on the other person's Switch, or is it rendered on my Switch and sent...
i used to go out to the recycling center every couple weeks and look at the crts and other electronics people would drop off. Usually screens were broken or severely scratched from being tossed around. Did find a good one here and there, but never anything like a 1080i widescreen crt.
I have a few of those boat anchors in my basement I tried giving away but no one wanted them, So anyone close to Columbus, Ohio area that wants them, (26", 2x 19") please come get, for free.
Is it piracy if it was released for free? Not in my opinion, but I also think it's not piracy if buying it isn't owning it, and it's not piracy if you can't buy it from the original creators anymore.
