I just did this to mine as a weekend project. I still need to replace the Pram Battery as now every time I turn on the PS3 my clock is not set.
So a little history, My PS3 is a "Launch" unit, has the four USB ports and card readers. I've never touched the paste until
this past weekend. When I...
Since you have a Xbox with no DVD Drive & No Hard Drive your options are limited without buying additional stuff to get the console back up and running. A Modchip would work, I've also used a Raspberry PI3 to extract the EEProm information off of a Xbox motherboard so I can use a HDD on that...
Being a fan of James Bond I am curious what you thought of the movie?
It's technically not part of the James Bond Movie set and is a "remake" of Thunderball.
I always enjoyed the original Thunderball verses Never Say Never Again. The director of this movie
is the director of my favorite Star...
Last movie I saw in the theater (remember those) was Avatar Way of the Water. It was "okay" but
the first one still knocks it out of the park.
Last movie I watched at home was the remastered version of John Carpenter's Starman.
A classic "sci-fi" movie.
You knew what I meant to say but we must keep the "terms" correct for copyright purposes. :)
I personally don't mind doing the job myself rather than "pay" someone to do it for me.
I will research this a tad more before I dive in.
Seeing and reading this thread, I have not done this yet. I own a "Original 40GB Fat PS3" the one with all the memory card readers. I've never replaced the paste but reading these comments is changing my mind. I did swap out the power supply for a more "energy efficient" model. The one with the...
You've got my attention. I own one of these things. Replaced the screen on the handheld a couple months ago because it had lines throughout and didn't work right. I now have a better working unit but the one thing I've always wanted to do was update the firmware. TMK the only way to do this was...
The chip itself as it stands now is a "lost cause". I had to retire it and seek another replacement. I had the part that snaps over the CPU controller not break the pins but bend them in a awkward fashion to the point when I had to go in and try to bend them back into place without causing...
I've never finished it or completed it. I have a SNES but I don't own the cart. I've been playing it on the switch per the SNES games bundle (NSO) and I'm enjoying it. There are some parts that are difficult to master like "Wall Jumping" for one. I am probably 50% threw. When your juggling a...
The original soundtrack for Streets of Rage has always stuck with me.
It's techno beat just fits and I listen to it often.
I remember dumping buckets of quarters at my local arcade on Shinobi. I've been trying to master the speed run on the boss
statue level when you hit the ninja magic at just...
I searched around some more and found this. This might be my best bet for getting this hard wired.
1700601306
Also that PS2 board in my top screenshot is a v10
I have a v9 and the wiring won't work.
Just found that out after cross-examination of wiring patterns.
I appreciate your efforts in order to help me out but I am having trouble deciphering what goes where from your sheet.
What I was originally going to do was take the image and color code the wires with MS Paint or something to that effect.
So I could look at the picture (edited) and follow the...
I found this picture from a post on Reddit. Replied to the thread and received no response as of yet.
This is the same chip that I have. Question I have is how to follow the wiring on this so I can duplicate it.
The problem is the wires are all bunched up and I'm getting cross-eyed trying to...
Looking for some help on this chip.
It is not working in my PS2 phat Model 50001.
To make a long story short I took this off another board (GH-23) that didn't make it. My replacement board is a (GH-26) so newer but the specs for installing are the same. This is the solderless version of the...
This happens to mine a lot simply because I don't keep it charged or play it enough. I also realize and know that the switch can only be in "stand-by" mode for so long before it goes completely dead.
Have you tried hooking it up to your computer with the USB cable and use the RCM tool to see if you can push a payload?
RCM should give you a status indicator. Just curious what it says if it does. This will only work if the switch power button is held down (as stated) for 20 seconds or longer...
I have a tool on my PS4 that allowed me to decrypt my Spiderman saves. It allowed me to continue playing right where I left off. I don't remember the name of the program but one of it's functions is to decrypt PS4 saves. If you want to IM me the link I can try it.
Turns out my ancestor was a bit upset about the whole language fragmentation issue, like Soda and Pop... Ask for a pop here in Florida people will look at you funny. Ask for a pop up north and people know what you want lol
They gave him a warning. This was at nearly the end of the school year. The teacher continued working there for a few weeks, but at the next school year he wasn't there anymore. So I don't know if he left or got fired ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
