Hi no you don't need the titles.key files. When you dumped your titles.key files from lockpick did it have the title keys of the games that you can't extract? (for example can you see a key in next to the string 0100132013678000 in the file titles.key)
Hey, I was busy making an http server for the switch in order to make an easy tool to handle saves (like saving synchronization etc...).
I cannot replicate the problem but I might have an idea of what the problem is. If you generate the titles.key via lockpick_rcm do you see your game on the list?
Nsp games work with the es patch which is still included in sigpatches the fusee bin doesn't load kip patches anymore but atmosphere still keeps the other patches
If you're not using sys-patch and you're using a custom fusee.bin file sigpatches don't include the kip ips files anymore because it is no longer officially supported you'll need to generate them yourself (via ips creator fron MrDude for example). That might be the reason why tinfoil doesn't...
Thank you for replying! It seems like I can't replicate the problem, I have a three week off next week I'll try again next week. I have an idea of what might be the issue but I'll need to make some tests.
Glad it worked it sounded logical to get the mbedtls package because you're going to go through https. Just to be safe and for convenience I've installed every switch-* package on my environment
Sorry for my wording. What I meant to say was that you should use msys2 instead of mingw

maybe if you added this line (248) it would avoid the confusion with es6 and es7
First of all sorry for your loss. I hope everything goes well for you.
I've made a patch on the IPS Patch creator tool that allows you to increase the number of bytes you can add in the NFIM patch 1 and 2 in the WCO tool
Following what unicornman said, you can replicate the sigpatches files by...
I wonder if you just make an IPS creator software but you don't include the wildcards search, the folder inside de nca you're looking for etc. and you just allow the user to import a json file with all the info you need it would get dmcaed?
A sidenote the actual sigpatches don't provide the loader and fs ips patches that used to work with fusee.bin (since it is officially not supported anymore and it is written in the patches.ini file). You need to generate them yourself.
From what I've gathered from the removing ips support commit it is for now at least safe to revert it. The only modifications made on this specific file are the addition of the new hashes for the new firmware version and the removal of the ips parsing.
That was an interesting read thank you! I find it odd that it is just legal to share this kind of information (I don't even know how they were able to get those key sources I don't know if this is supposed to be confidential or not) but like I said earlier I suppose they know what they are doing.
Oh right makes sense. So there is no legal issue if you publish those key sources like in the lockpick_rcm code source? I suppose they are not like public keys or salt where those are meant to be shared.
I don't think that there's a problem legally speaking on the purpose of the software itself but in how they do it.
I think that we can both agree that the tool hactool has nothing illegal per see on it even though it allows to extract copywritten content. I think that it would be a problem if...
Like I said take it with a grain of salt but if you look at the lockpick_rcm code the function void generate_aes_kek() for example directly uses the keys mentioned earlier to retrieve the private keys.
I don't know how they got those master keys in the first place but I think that an argument...
They are not the keys that you would see in the keys.txt file but arent they the keys to retrieve those keys (sort of a master key)? If you look at the lockpick_rcm updates commits you'll see that the only updates those commits have to be compatible with new firmwares are the keys that are in...
i used to go out to the recycling center every couple weeks and look at the crts and other electronics people would drop off. Usually screens were broken or severely scratched from being tossed around. Did find a good one here and there, but never anything like a 1080i widescreen crt.
I have a few of those boat anchors in my basement I tried giving away but no one wanted them, So anyone close to Columbus, Ohio area that wants them, (26", 2x 19") please come get, for free.
