Nintendo officially confirms Switch successor console, announces Nintendo Direct for next month

Skip (no matter how good it would be), I still have over 200 games on my Switch to play. Besides, I'm not planning on giving even a cent more to Nintendo :yayswitch: ever again.

Things you recently bought or got

Unfortunately, RetroArch doesn't utilize MIPS CPU so performance is terrible. That was the only way to go, so I had to do it, but I never, ever want to go thru something like this again. To the hell and back

Things you recently bought or got

This is exactly what I'm doing right now, playing all the PS1/PSP games that I missed and I missed almost all of them. On top of that the homebrew ports, mainly classic PC games. When it comes to RPGs, that's very true. There are tons of them, but they're really good and even I (who doesn't like...

Things you recently bought or got

Thank you. I actually bought 1000 as soon as it was released, then I switched to 2000. Now this one will replace the old one that went thru hell with me. Vita is the only handheld or console in general that I never sold, I love it and use it way too much. Sorry to hear that, but I can...

Editorial Almost everything I hoped it would be - a week with the 2024 Zenbook Duo

Alright, thank you. Don't forget to switch battery setting in MyAsus app if you're using it mainly while plugged in.

@Scarlet Can I ask how's the battery life? With both screens and with just one if you already tested.

Editorial Almost everything I hoped it would be - a week with the 2024 Zenbook Duo

I've been using Zenbook Duo 14 (UX482) with i7-1195G7 for a long time now and this is the best laptop that I had since Alienware M11X. I love almost everything about it and also, I got it cheap (€600 brand new). Been looking at this new one, but it's not for me anymore. I love the smaller...

Things you recently bought or got

I was lucky to get a brand new PS Vita 2000. Not the Japanese one that's supposedly new (with very often replaced battery and new screws so that no one would figure out), but a sealed UK one. Already with a 1.5TB microsd card inside and completely full. Replaced my old one with yellowish screen.

Homebrew Shenmue: Reclaiming The Path (fan game) trailer

Those who didn't play Shenmue back in the day unfortunately won't understand what it was. It was an experience like no other. There wasn't anything like that and this game was incredible for its time. You got to experience so many things, new and fresh things in one game.

Homebrew Shenmue: Reclaiming The Path (fan game) trailer

If you won't try it out yourself, you'll never know. Give it a shot

Nintendo Switch firmware update 18.0.1 has been released

Exactly, just don't expect anything from Nintendo and you won't get disappointed. You barely get some icons by playing games or whatever, so what are we even talking about. Nintendo is in the stone age with Switch, in every possible way. If things won't change with the successor then I hope...

Homebrew Shenmue: Reclaiming The Path (fan game) trailer

Of course it's worse than the first one, for me no other installment will ever beat it. I also couldn't get the second one back in the day, but I was able to download ripped version (remember downloading it for a long time because internet was what it was). Got the legit copy for Dreamcast quite...

Homebrew Shenmue: Reclaiming The Path (fan game) trailer

Well, they're all opinions. I liked the game as an old Shenmue fan, if you didn't or someone else didn't then it's fine of course. I never watch some stupid videos, I come to my own conclusions based on gameplay. I might agree or disagree on things, but at the end of the day - does it really...

Homebrew Shenmue: Reclaiming The Path (fan game) trailer

Who said that the 3rd one was bad? It was good, not bad. Bad for people who never played previous ones, good for the ones who did.

Nintendo Switch firmware update 18.0.1 has been released

You have white and black, Nintendo says that this is all you need. Don't complain and be happy, because we'll never get more from them. :)

Nintendo Switch firmware update 18.0.1 has been released

This one at least fixes something, unlike banning 'bad words' in some updates.

Homebrew Homebrew app sys-patch - sysmod that patches on boot

Probably because it's applied on boot only and there's no use for it afterwards in HOS if you'd want to do anything with it.

Biomutant looks cool tho, may have to try that
  • Quincy @ Quincy:
Usually when such a big title leaks the Temp will be the first to report about it (going off of historical reports here, Pokemon SV being the latest one I can recall seeing pop up here)
  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
I still like how a freaking mp3 file hacks webos all that security defeated by text yet again
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:

I want a 120hz 4k tv but crazy how more expensive the 120hz over the 60hz are. Or even more crazy is the price of 8k's.
  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
No real point since movies are 30fps
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Not a big movie buff, more of a gamer tbh. And Series X is 120hz 8k ready, but yea only 120hz 4k games out right now, but thinking of in the future.
  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
Mostly why you never see TV manufacturers going post 60hz
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:

  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Damn, only $2.06 and free shipping. Gotta cost more for them to ship than $2.06
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
I got my Dad a firestick for Xmas and showed him those 3rd party sites on Kodi, he loves it, all he watches anymore. He said he has got 3 letters from AT&T already about pirating, but he says f them, let them shut my internet off (He wants out of his AT&T contract anyways)
  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
That's where stremio comes to play never got a letter about it
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:

  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
I had to find and get him an old style flip phone even without text, cause thats what he wanted. No text, no internet, only phone calls. Old, old school.
