I just had my wii u working fine a moment ago until I went back to install the homebrew menu as I missed that step earlier.
Upon reboot however, all of my homebrew homescreen icons are missing, I can no longer open the plugins menu, or open games. However I can launch into the homebrew menu via the Mii Maker app and use homebrew apps within it.
Afaik environment loader is working fine and is autobooting since I get an error telling me to not run it twice whenever I try and open it again either through health & safety or the browser exploit.
I even attempted to replace all the files again with the ones from the SD preparation site but that did not help. What did I mess up? lol
EDIT: Lost sig patches somehow so games work again. However I still cant load up the plugin menu for whatever reason or see my homebrew apps on the homescreen
Just tried a brand new SD card as well, so a bad SD card is ruled out hmm
Don’t install the homebrew wrapper installer
This was my issue as soon as I deleted the file everything started working again
