broke oot. How to get pasted the fat frozen king.

Not sure how I did it but I broke the game. I'm adult link and just finished the fire temple. I can not get to the ice cavern because the king is frozen. If I go back to the child and talk to him he tanks me for saving the princess but is still blocking the path. IS there a way to make him move?

Are you sure you don't know what you did?

I think it was a save corruption. I noticed my boomerang was gone too. I used a save editor to fix that but still can not get the king to move. I may have to skip the cavern and just add the boot with the save editor.
