Hacking can you watch burnt dvd movies on a modbo 750 v1.93 ps2?

i have a 39001 ps2 with this chip. it works fine with burnt ps1 games and multiregion, but i've never tried home video dvd's, and i currently don't own any blank dvd's to test it. i'd like to be able to watch dvd movies on my crt

I think you can, if not with normally, there's a media player for ps2.

pretty sure if it has a chip installed it will doubt softmod (freemcboot) allows dvd videos seeing as you must patch ps2 ISO's before burning them to run using the ESR app also chipping a ps2 is no easy feat requires ALOT OF SOLDERING (20+ wires iirc try simple media server (I think thats what it's called) might be able to play burned movies but idk for sure

I think that media player is what I'm thinking of. Op, it's small enough to fit on a memory card, and assign to a button at boot up.

Shouldn't be a problem. Can run them also on unmodded ps2s (just may have disc read errors occasionally)
