RELEASE NOTES :
As some of you may know, Duke Nukem Forever began life as a side-scroller
in 1996. This release includes four builds from that period of development
including tools.
Where possible, executables have been patched to run on modern systems. For
16-bit Windows and DOS executables, DOSBox Staging and OTVDM are provided.
Unlike our previous releases, we have included a 'pre-patched' release in
addition to the raw files and individual patches.
Lets go :
* Performance depends on the BETA code and all versions are unfinished.
- download somewhere from google the release Duke.Nukem.Forever.1996-x0r_jmp
- install 2023-07-26_RetroArch.vpk on your VITA

- create folder in ux0:data/DOS Files (or what ever you want)
- use ONLY Raw data files from the jmp release ! (patched files will crash after 1 minute)
- start one time RetroArch and close it, start again (first start create folder and sub files)
- load content
- ux0:data/DOS Files/110896/NUKEM4.exe
- 2 options Core show up
DOSBOX - Pure = working, controller is NOT mapped
DOSBOX - SVN = not tested
- select DOSBOX - Pure core and wait
- info show up, CDRom Could NOT Load = FIX press start button, it will work !
- game start
- Press L1 + R1 + start + select = open the RetroArch settings menu
- go on Core Options
- Performance Options use ''MAX Emulate as many instructions Possible'' / stay on limit cpu usage 100
NOTE : FIX ! DO NOT USE Patched Files ! Its instable and crash after 1 minute on the VITA !
NOTE 2 : Sound = working / Music = BETA copy has no music
