Hardware Is it possible to port switch / psvita / ps3 games to the Wii U?

So i wonder if it's possible to port switch/ psvita / ps3 games to the Wii U to play a lot of games...
I also wonder, if it's possible, is it legal to port games to other consoles?

If it's possible, He re is all the possibilities to maybe one day play that games:

• Emulators
• Direct Ports
• Rom Hacks of wii u equivalent (ex: Rom hack of MK8 who changes it to MK8Deluxe)

don't know. for that, you'd have to emulate both software and hardware. I doubt the wii u is capable.

If you really think psvita game can run on WiiU and don’t accept the fact that nope, it’s not possible, even when somebody say it to you 2 times, don’t ask.
The WiiU is not really powerful, and to emulate a console, it can take 2x or 3x the power of the original console because the hardware is not the same.
So no, the WiiU can’t actually run Switch/PsVita/PS3/X360 games and will probably never be.
Mod for Mario Kart 8 to be Deluxe aren’t impossible tough, but don’t exist atm.

You can’t port a PsVita/PS3/X360/Switch game on WiiU, it’s too different.
You have to emulate these game and it’s impossible.
Romhacking is possible, but very limited.

And btw porting a game you don’t own is illegal.

So to be clear, no, you can’t do anything of that on WiiU, but you can do romhacking.

You'll honestly find more success in recreating entire games from scratch in Unity or something than you will trying to retrofit them onto Wii U. Much of what you've proposed is a technical impossibility that, if even possible, would take far too much time to ever be worth doing.

You have good intentions, but I don't think this is something you should pursue.

Or mods that add maps from Splatoon 2 and 3 to Splatoon 1 on Wii U.

Or even simpler Switch games like Sonic Mania that had unofficial ports for the Wii U.

PS3/PSVita: It technically can, but it's not like it would be easy to port a PS3 or PSVita game to the Wii U, especially without the source code.
