So I'm using Nintendont on my Wii U using vWii. (I know this is GC section, but this is GC related, if it needs to be moved, then sorry)
I'm running a PAL copy of Pokemon Colosseum aiming to then use https://gbatemp.net/threads/finally-hack-for-japanese-colosseum-bonus-disc-for-us-games.253401/ this guide to transfer Celebi onto it. I already hex-edited the three values to provide a celebi to the PAL pokemon colosseum save file. However when I boot up the J-Disc, I get the attached message when clicking on the shrine.
I know this translates somewhat to "there is no sava data on memory card A" or something. The issue is, I don't know how to make the bonus disc see that I have a save file.
My memory card is an emulated one that is 251 blocks multi-memory using Nintendont's settings. Does it have to be an actual physical card? I do have an original Wii with GC ports, since I'll be sending my stuff over to my GBA cart of Sapphire.
When I boot the JP Disc, Nintendont makes a separate memory card since it's JP region. Is this the fault I'm ending up with? Since it's trying to read from a JP card at that point?
If anyone has any insight and guidance, please let me know how to solve this issue!
