Homebrew Trying to Install Wii Homebrew Channel

So I have firmware 3.3 on my wii and i copied the save data for the wii twilight hack thing and it said

you have wii system menu 353 vUSA home brew channel has only been tested with v10

or something like that. at that point i turned off my power source. should I accept and continue?

I just downloaded the bin file for my code that was on the twilight princess disc and put it in the correct folders. Also I put the boot.elf file on the root of my SD.

So should I go through with it?

EDIT: I also have a .wad file for "My life as a king". What should I do with this?

the last guy already answered you. I have got that message for my wii and two friends, and none of them are damaged. Just do it.

You can use the wad installer to install that.

Alright now I got the channel itself installed learned about wads, and got some backups on my wii. Now Iam trying to get Ocarina working. When I use it and run Brawl through it the game freezes when It goes to the part where i put the cheats on. Like If i did unlimited parts in stage builder, when I enter stage builder it freezes.
